Jim Alexander has contributed a humor column, entitled “notes from downtown,” to the Montecito Journal since 1996. His nonfiction has also been published in the Los Angeles Times, the Santa Barbara News-Press, Santa Barbara Families magazine and the anthology, Democrat’s Soul.
His short story “Baby Grand” was recently published in Carpinteria Magazine. “Rancho Zorra Dusk,” a short story from a collection of connected short stories titled Paint Chip Tales was performed in 2008 at Speaking of Stories in the illustrious Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, California.
